About the role#
This is a paid internship for students in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health. You will work on-site at a Shoppers Drug Mart location in Dundas, Ontario. This role provides practical training in a community pharmacy setting to help prepare you for a career as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and follow all privacy requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Provide a positive experience for pharmacy customers.
- Learn the day-to-day operations of a retail pharmacy.
- Develop your skills in patient counseling and communication with healthcare workers.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of over-the-counter products.
- Understanding of disease state management and drug therapy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients.

- Location: 101 Osler Drive, Unit 102, Dundas, ON.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time with rolling terms.
