About the role#
This is a paid internship for students currently pursuing a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. You will work in a community pharmacy setting to gain practical experience and prepare for your future career as a pharmacist. This role is based in a retail environment where you will learn how to manage a pharmacy and provide direct patient care.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers as they arrive at the pharmacy.
- Manage patient privacy, confidentiality, and consent requirements.
- Learn about the evolving responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Participate in training regarding over-the-counter products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Develop skills in patient counseling and pharmacy operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a pharmacy degree program.
- Ability to work in a retail pharmacy environment.
- A commitment to learning pharmacy management and patient counseling techniques.

- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
