About the role#
As a Pharmacist Student, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations, assist with patient care, and help maintain a safe, compliant environment. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program who want to build their clinical and operational skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist with daily tasks, excluding duties that require professional pharmacist judgment.
- Enter patient information into the pharmacy system with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform post fill audits to ensure quality and compliance.
- Provide training support for pharmacy associates and assist with the technician training program.
- Support company Health and Wellness initiatives to help improve patient outcomes.
- Handle electronic fund transactions and follow cash management guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and all local, state, and federal pharmacy laws.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school program.
- At least 1 year of previous retail experience.
- Completion of national or state intern registration, certification, or licensure.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current certification in immunizations or the ability to become certified.

- This position is located in Zionsville, Indiana.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship opportunity with a rolling term.
