About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position at a Shoppers Drug Mart location in Calgary, Alberta. You will work in a community pharmacy setting to gain practical experience and prepare for a career as a pharmacist. This role is open to students in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Health Administration.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Provide an exceptional experience for pharmacy customers.
- Learn about OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Enhance your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Gain exposure to the practice of pharmacy in a community environment.
What you'll need#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy and confidentiality requirements are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.

- Pay: $23.20 to $30.25 per hour.
