About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment to learn the expanding roles of a community pharmacist and gain real-world training to complement your academic studies. This is a full-time, paid role with flexible shifts.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent to ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Provide patient counseling to support health and wellness.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients, store employees, and other health care workers.
- Learn the operational skills needed to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student seeking practical experience for your future pharmacy career.
- An interest in community pharmacy practice.
- Knowledge of drug therapy, disease state management, and over-the-counter products.
- The ability to handle the demands of a retail pharmacy environment.

- Location: Edmonton, Alberta.

- Pay: $23.20 to $30.25 per hour, depending on experience and location.
