About the role#
We are looking for a Business Analyst Co-op student to join our Data Operations team for the Winter 2027 term. This position offers hands-on experience with data pipelines, CRM systems, and cloud-based platforms. You will support ongoing initiatives like CRM migration, data processing, and automation while working with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality.
What you'll do#
- Assist with CRM data migration activities including extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot daily data issues.
- Maintain and improve ETL processes using Python, SQL, or other relevant tools.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Work with cloud platforms like GCP for data storage and processing.
- Automate manual processes using scripting or workflow tools.
- Build and enhance reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI.
- Create technical documentation for data processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and meet data requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related program.
- Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with ETL, data quality, and relational databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience with Power BI or Excel is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure is an asset.
- Familiarity with version control, such as Git, is helpful.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and workflow automation tools like Power Automate or Airflow.
- Experience working with APIs or file-based data transfers like SFTP or CSV.

- Modality: Hybrid, with up to 1 day remote per week.
