What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Provide an exceptional experience for every customer.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including confidentiality and consent management.
- Maintain a professional presence by being clearly identifiable to the public.
- Develop skills in managing a retail pharmacy, including disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Enhance your communication skills with patients, employees, and other health care workers.
- Expand your knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant program, such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, or Public Health.
- A commitment to professional training in a community pharmacy environment.
