About the role#
The Operational Analytics & Insights team at Canadian Tire Bank is looking for a Business Operations Analyst Student for the Winter 2027 term. This is a 4-month, full-time, on-site position based in Welland, Ontario. You will work with a team focused on connecting operational, customer, and business data to improve Contact Centre performance.
What you'll do#
- Build and enhance executive and operational dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Analyze operational and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Support forecasting, workforce planning, and performance measurement activities.
- Assist with data cleaning, validation, testing, governance, and quality initiatives.
- Contribute to automation projects that reduce manual work and improve reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A solid foundation in technical skills such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- An interest in process improvement and using data to create business value.

- Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 CAD hourly (typical hiring range).
