About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in warehouse operations. You will work directly with warehouse staff and leadership to learn how our facilities function. The program lasts 10 weeks and requires 40 hours of work per week. Successful interns may be considered for full-time roles after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations and collaborate with the warehouse team.
- Assist leadership with training sessions and administrative tasks.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with daily control tasks.
- Participate in Waste Walks and Seven Step Problem Solving.
- Prepare a formal report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations to share with ALDI executives.
- Attend team meetings and company trainings.
- Work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
- Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work under strict deadlines.
- Skill in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
