About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in warehouse operations. You will work alongside warehouse staff and leadership to understand the daily functions that keep our facilities running. This is a full-time, 10-week program. Successful completion may lead to full-time employment opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations by collaborating with staff and following guidance from a training leader.
- Assist leadership with administrative tasks, training, interview events, and orientations.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with specific inventory tasks.
- Participate in Waste Walks and problem-solving initiatives.
- Prepare a formal report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations for ALDI executives.
- Work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting product weighing up to 45 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to following instructions.

- Location: Dwight, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour plus eligibility for overtime.
