About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week internship program based in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. You will work 40 hours per week in a warehouse setting. The role offers hands-on experience with warehouse operations and provides a look at how ALDI manages its supply chain. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn core warehouse operations and collaborate with warehouse staff.
- Assist leadership with training sessions, orientations, and administrative tasks.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with daily tasks.
- Participate in Waste Walks and Seven Step Problem Solving initiatives.
- Develop a report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations to share with company executives.
- Attend team meetings and company trainings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Physical ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and freezer environments.
- Ability to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds.
