About the role#
This is a 9-week summer internship program within the Sustainable Investment Team at Schroders. You will join the product group to gain experience in asset management, specifically focusing on how we approach sustainability, ESG, and impact-oriented investing. This position is full-time and based in our New York office.
What you'll do#
- Participate in comprehensive introductory training to build your industry knowledge.
- Contribute to live projects and gain hands-on experience by working directly with your assigned team.
- Shadow experienced professionals and learn from leaders in the field.
- Network with colleagues and other interns to build professional connections.
- Develop a deep understanding of sustainability at Schroders and become a subject matter expert on the topic.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student in your Junior Year of undergraduate studies, graduating in 2028.
- A clear interest in financial markets, investing, sustainability, ESG, and impact-oriented investing.
- A basic understanding of macroeconomic trends and investment concepts.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with large or complex numerical datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a growth mindset.
- The ability to present ideas and insights confidently to various audiences.
- Logical thinking and structured reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of our target audiences.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7th to August 6th).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (onsite in the New York office 3 days per week).
- Employment: Full-time internship.
