About the role#
The Client Group Internship Program at Schroders offers a 9-week introduction to the asset management industry. This full-time, paid summer program is designed for students in their Junior year. You will work within the Client Group, which integrates product, marketing, and sales functions to serve a global base of institutional and individual clients.
What you'll do#
- Participate in comprehensive introductory training to build your business knowledge.
- Contribute to live projects and gain hands-on experience by working directly with your assigned team.
- Shadow experienced professionals and learn from leaders in the field.
- Network with colleagues and other interns to build professional connections.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, with an expected graduation date in 2028.
- A major in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A moderate understanding of finance and a genuine interest in asset management and market trends.
- Ability to articulate insights on macro-level topics and understand target audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Methodical thinking, resourcefulness, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven initiative through project coordination, volunteering, or leadership roles.

- This internship is based in New York, New York.
- The program runs from June 7, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days per week in the office.
