About the role#
This co-op position supports the Instrumentation and Controls department. You will assist in ensuring systems operate efficiently for clients in industries like manufacturing, process, and energy. You will report to the Department Manager and work on-site in Cincinnati.
What you'll do#
- Develop schematics, interconnection and IO diagrams, and conduit and cable layouts.
- Perform calculations for cable, conduit, cable tray, panel heat load, and wireway sizing.
- Conduct site assessments and audits, including producing field sketches.
- Maintain and update project specifications and drawings.
- Communicate project status and technical information to customers, contractors, and the project team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, EMET, EET, or a related field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Raster software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver license.
- Experience with Navisworks is desired.
