About the role#
This is a part-time, paid Mechanical Engineering internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in Merritt Island, Florida. This position requires an average of 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Draft designs using AutoCAD or Revit.
- Review and create drawing markups using PDF editing tools.
- Review HVAC and plumbing calculations.
- Review applicable international and local codes and standards.
- Develop cost estimates.
- Assist with generating job specifications and writing reports.
- Evaluate existing facility systems and equipment.
- Prepare technical documentation through 2D and 3D drawing production.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program at a four-year ABET university.
- Targeted graduation date within one year is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid, unrestricted driver license.
- Verification of US Citizenship upon hire.

- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
