About the role#
As a Technology Designer/Low Voltage Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience by contributing to real-world engineering projects. You will work alongside skilled professionals to build your skills and apply your classroom knowledge to active project development.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams through various project phases, ranging from concept design to implementation and testing.
- Conduct technical research, data analysis, and simulations to support project objectives.
- Maintain project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across design and construction.
- Propose ideas to improve existing processes or solve engineering challenges.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to support team innovation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in engineering software, specifically Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on tasks.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to handle various project assignments.
