About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Electrical Co-op/CAD Operator position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work under the direct supervision of designers and engineers to develop your professional skills through standard design procedures and technical tasks. This role is strictly on-site.
What you'll do#
- Perform conventional designs, investigations, and surveys using established procedures.
- Prepare sketches, routine drawings, and electrical work layouts from architectural plans.
- Adjust and correlate data while following design steps.
- Input mechanical or electrical work from freehand sketches.
- Maintain project files, including blueprints and catalogs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Electrical Engineering major.
- Minimum of High School or Technical School training.
- Ability to regularly use a ladder and work at heights up to 20 feet.
- Physical mobility to perform field investigations and observations.
- Capacity to lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Access to personal transportation for travel to and from job sites.
