About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in electrical engineering within a professional design services firm. You will work on various commercial projects, including schools, universities, healthcare facilities, and office buildings. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Boston.
What you'll do#
- Use REVIT to assist with system design.
- Contribute to electrical system design, including power and fire alarm systems.
- Create lighting layouts for commercial spaces.
- Visit active construction jobsites to learn about the industry.
- Perform basic electrical engineering calculations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You have knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, AutoCAD and REVIT.
- You have an interest in the design and layout of electrical distribution.
- You possess basic knowledge of lighting design and controls, or are willing to learn.
- You have excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- You are a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
