About the role#
The Electrical Engineering Intern will support our team on various projects including schools, universities, healthcare facilities, offices, and infrastructure. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based on-site in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
What you'll do#
- Use REVIT to assist in system design.
- Work on electrical system design, lighting layouts, and power and fire alarm systems for commercial spaces.
- Visit construction jobsites to learn about the industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering degree program.
- Knowledge of or a willingness to learn AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Interest in the layout and design of electrical distribution.
- Basic knowledge of lighting design and controls or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform basic electrical engineering calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Leadership ability and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- A self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn and grow on projects.
