About the role#
Saint Luke's is hiring a Nursing Intern for the Medical Float Pool at Saint Luke's South Hospital. This is a paid, on-site internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work a PRN schedule with a minimum of one shift per six-week period.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care.
- Assist other members of the health care team.
- Perform clinical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete technical tasks based on unit competency validation.
- Note that you are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Successful completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- An expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
- A current Basic Life Support certification.
- Less than one year of applicable experience.

- This role is based in Overland Park, Kansas.
- The position is part-time and does not offer sponsorship.
