About the role#
Ryan Companies is hiring a Project Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Atlanta. You will work alongside our project teams to learn construction processes, company policies, and day-to-day operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team in completing assigned tasks.
- Learn about budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Gain experience with job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
- Practice clear communication in both written and verbal formats.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
- You are within 18 months of graduation.
- You can commit to 40 hours per week for at least three months.
- You have basic knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- You can read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
