About the role#
The Field Engineer Intern supports project teams by assisting superintendents with daily field operations. This role focuses on gaining practical experience in job-site coordination, project documentation, and site safety management while working on commercial real estate projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist superintendents with daily project duties.
- Support the flow of project documentation and scheduling tasks.
- Participate in quality control and safety activities on the job site.
- Develop an understanding of how to coordinate construction activities effectively.
- Perform additional project-specific tasks as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Graduation date within 18 months of the start of the internship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of three months.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to support job-site efficiency.
