About the role#
The Field Engineer Intern role provides hands-on experience in commercial real estate construction. You will work directly with superintendents to gain a practical understanding of how a job site functions, focusing on coordination, scheduling, and safety standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist superintendents with daily on-site operations.
- Manage project document flow and help maintain project schedules.
- Support quality control processes and safety activities.
- Develop a working knowledge of job-site coordination.
- Complete other project-specific tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or a closely related field.
- Graduation date within 18 months of the start of the internship.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum term of three months.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while contributing to job site efficiency.

- Locations: Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Austin, TX; Atlanta, GA.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on location and candidate qualifications.
- Employment status: Paid internship with rolling terms.
