About the role#
The Field Engineer Intern will work directly on-site to gain practical experience in construction project management. This role provides an opportunity to observe and participate in the daily operations of a commercial real estate project while supporting the superintendent team.
What you'll do#
- Assist superintendents with daily job-site duties.
- Support the management of project document flow, scheduling, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of how job-site coordination functions in a professional construction environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Must be within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree.
- Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for a minimum term of three months.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
