About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will support the project team in completing designated projects. This role focuses on helping you learn construction industry processes, procedures, and company business policies.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with project completion.
- Develop a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Gain first-hand experience in job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, management, or a closely related field.
- Within 18 months of graduation.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum term of three months.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Capacity to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
