About the role#
Ryan Companies is hiring a Project Engineer Intern for our Mission Critical team in Atlanta. This is a paid, full-time position available for terms in Summer, Fall, or Winter 2027. You will work on-site to assist our project teams while learning about our business policies and construction procedures.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team in completing assigned construction tasks.
- Learn the fundamentals of project budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Gain direct experience with job-site coordination, including scheduling, quality control, and safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- You must be within 18 months of graduation.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of three months.
- General knowledge of cost control methods and estimating techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
