About the role#
Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to join the team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role focuses on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and company business policies while assisting the project team with designated projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team in the completion of designated projects.
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
- Must be within 18 months of graduation.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- This is an on-site position located in Phoenix, Arizona.
- The internship is a full-time role with a rolling term.
