About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects. This role focuses on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and business policies. You will work on-site in a full-time capacity for a minimum three-month term.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with the completion of assigned projects.
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related field (Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration).
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of three months.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.

- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
