About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will support the project team in completing designated projects. This role focuses on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and internal business policies.
What you'll do#
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
- Communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Must be within 18 months of graduation.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum term of three months.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
