About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to public accounting through a hands-on, eight-week program. Interns are treated as full-time team members and are paired with a Career Advocate to help establish personalized professional goals. You will receive orientation and training on the firm’s accounting and tax networks to prepare for your engagements.
What you'll do#
- Communicate directly with clients and internal staff.
- Perform client work both in the office and at client locations.
- Assist with compliance tasks related to federal, state, and local taxation.
- Analyze and develop an understanding of internal controls.
- Create and maintain workpaper documentation for client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Junior or senior status in an Accounting or Business Administration program.
- Completion of introductory accounting courses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous completion of an Auditing or Tax course is preferred.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Term: Winter 2028.
- Schedule: Full-time for at least eight weeks.
- Modality: On-site.
