About the role#
The Entrepreneurial Services Group at RubinBrown LLP partners with business owners to support the growth and improvement of their companies. This internship provides exposure to a broad range of business, accounting, and tax issues while serving emerging entrepreneurial enterprises.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute day-to-day activities for small business engagements.
- Review client documentation for financial statement preparation.
- Perform attest procedures, including reviews and compilations of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Prepare payroll tax reports and filings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Working toward CPA certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to utilize technology effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
