About the role#
The Entrepreneurial Services Group at RubinBrown LLP partners with business owners to help them improve and grow. This department works with emerging entrepreneurial enterprises by providing a broad range of accounting and tax services. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute day-to-day activities for small business engagements.
- Review client documentation to prepare financial statements.
- Perform attest procedures, such as reviews and compilations of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Prepare payroll tax reports and filings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Progress toward CPA certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to use technology effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
