About the role#
RubinBrown LLP is seeking a Tax Intern for the Winter 2028 term. This internship introduces students to the field of public accounting through hands-on experience and professional orientation. Interns are assigned a Career Advocate to help establish personalized goals and receive training on firm accounting and tax networks. This is a paid, full-time position requiring a commitment of at least eight weeks.
What you'll do#
- Communicate directly with clients and staff members.
- Perform client work both in the office and at client locations.
- Assist with compliance tasks related to Federal, State, Local, and Wealth-Management taxation.
- Analyze and develop an understanding of internal controls.
- Create and maintain workpaper documentation for client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in an Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics program.
- Completion of introductory accounting courses.
- Prior completion of an Auditing or Tax class is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
