About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the field of public accounting. Interns are treated as full-time team members and are assigned a Career Advocate to assist in setting personalized professional goals. The program includes an introductory orientation and training on the firm's accounting and tax networks.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit testing and procedures on key engagement areas.
- Communicate directly with clients and internal staff.
- Conduct client work both in the office and at client locations.
- Gather and analyze industry and comparable company research from public documents.
- Prepare written reports covering company background, financial reviews, and industry outlooks.
- Create and maintain workpaper documentation for client engagements.
- Gain insight into audit risk assessment, analysis processes, and internal controls.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in a degree program for Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Completion of introductory accounting courses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior completion of an Auditing or Tax course is preferred.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Term: Summer 2028.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time schedule for a minimum of eight weeks.
