About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in state and local tax services. You will work with diverse clients and contribute to multiple team engagements throughout the summer of 2027. This position is full-time and based on-site in Orlando.
What you'll do#
- Integrate state and local tax services with existing client accounts.
- Complete tax planning and research tasks.
- Build your knowledge of state and local tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
- Review client tax processes to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Assist clients in evaluating sales and use tax software systems.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
