About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Baker Tilly, you will gain hands-on experience by delivering tax advisory and compliance services to our clients. This full-time internship is designed to help you build a strong foundation in public accounting while working alongside experienced associates, seniors, managers, and partners. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your performance for a potential full-time associate role.

- Participate in intern orientation, technical training, and development programs.

- Apply your academic knowledge to professional tax projects.
- Build professional relationships and friendships within the firm.
- Learn from leadership across various industries and service lines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in an accounting, law, or related business program.
- Sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA or Bar exam.
- Ability to work full time for the duration of the internship.
- Outstanding academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
- Strong skills in time management, communication, problem solving, and collaboration.
- Organizational skills, initiative, and adaptability.
- Relevant internship or work experience, or involvement with professional organizations, is desired.
