About the role#
As an RF Engineering Intern at our Long Beach site, you will join the Radio Frequency Products Team. You will support the testing and production of transceivers and other RF hardware as we scale our radio capabilities for mass production. This role involves working alongside mentors to apply your engineering knowledge to real-world challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support the test and productionization of transceivers and RF products.
- Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve technical challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to review your progress.
- Participate in tech talks and connect with other employees through professional and social events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Physics, Mathematics, or an engineering discipline (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace).
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- A minimum of 3 months of applied engineering experience, including internships, laboratory work, or personal projects.
- Ability to lead development projects independently and collaborate across teams.
- Comfort working in small teams and navigating ambiguity.
Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 3.5 or higher, 6 months of applied engineering experience, and familiarity with MATLAB, ANSYS, and Python. Experience with electronics and test equipment like oscilloscopes, power meters, and spectrum analyzers is also helpful.

- Location: Long Beach, California.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Term: Summer 2027 (minimum 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June).
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
