    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Space Systems Division, you will help bring new reaction wheel and star tracker products to market. You will also support the implementation of new electronics design software. You will work alongside a group of professionals to solve engineering challenges and grow your skills through frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop, test, and maintain flight electronics for reaction wheel and star tracker products.
    • Apply engineering concepts to solve real-world technical challenges.
    • Support the implementation of new electronics design software.
    • Participate in professional and social events to network with other interns and employees.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or mathematics.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • A minimum of 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, laboratory work, or personal projects.
    • Ability to work full-time and on-site for at least 16 consecutive weeks.

    Preferred qualifications include a 3.5 GPA or higher, 6 months of applied engineering experience, and skills in Python or CAD. Hands-on experience with hardware like Arduinos or Raspberry Pi, circuit prototyping, and soldering is also beneficial.

    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: Full-time, on-site.
    • Compensation: $60,008 CAD per year.
