About the role#
As a Test Engineering Intern at our Stennis Space Center site, you will support the Archimedes engine test operations. You will participate as an operator by supporting engine rebuilds, test readiness, and hardware swaps. The Test Operations team manages the activation and operation of test facilities to prepare for the launch of our Neutron vehicle.
What you'll do#
- Support engine rebuilds, test readiness, and hardware swaps.
- Participate as an operator for engine test operations.
- Collaborate with propulsion teams to develop test procedures and sequencing.
- Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real challenges.
- Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors.
- Participate in tech talks and intern networking events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Solidworks, MATLAB, SiemensNX, Python, or Java is preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, or pressurized systems is preferred.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
- Note: Relocation stipend may be available.
