    About the role#

    As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at our Long Beach site, you will support the development of new hardware and concepts. You will build and test designs to ensure they perform in extreme space environments and deliver hardware to the spacecraft integration team. This role contributes to the development of the next generation of high performing spacecraft.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real challenges.
    • Work closely with a mentor and other employees to grow your technical and professional skills.
    • Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with supervisors to track progress and learning.
    • Participate in tech talks and professional events.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate degree program in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical, or Mechanical engineering.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, laboratory work, or team projects.
    • The ability to work full-time and on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
    • A comfort level with ambiguity.

    • Location: Long Beach, California.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
    • Status: Paid, full-time internship.
