About the role#
The Global Clinical Operations Excellence Intern will join the Pharma Product Development team in the Clinical Operations Excellence department. This role focuses on improving productivity and supporting the delivery of clinical trials. You will work with study teams and compliance experts to help make trial delivery more efficient for patients and site staff.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with study teams, COE colleagues, and Quality and Compliance experts to optimize processes and support quality assurance.
- Participate in continuous improvement and change management activities.
- Support the creation and implementation of global and local processes, policies, and training programs.
- Assist in knowledge sharing and the adoption of new ways of working that use data, AI, and other technologies.
- Help support a learning management strategy for Clinical Operations to build future capabilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Biomedical Informatics, Science, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Developing understanding of the infrastructure required for clinical trials and drug development.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in learning about GCP/GVP compliance, business process ownership, and data integrity.
- Computer literacy and enthusiasm for supporting the adoption of new technologies.
- Ability to work as a self-starter.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (12-month internship).
- Modality: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days per week in the office).
- Status: Full-time (35 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid position with a hiring range of 57,416.00 to 75,358.50 CAD.
