About the role#
This is a 1-year full-time internship within the Medical Strategy team. You will work across therapeutic areas to help improve operational success and support core medical initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience and mentorship to help you start your career in the pharmaceutical industry.
What you'll do#
- Redesign and maintain internal team knowledge sites, digital file architecture, and onboarding roadmaps.
- Explore and implement AI productivity tools to improve team operations.
- Conduct desktop market research on therapeutic trends, clinical trials, and the healthcare ecosystem.
- Monitor and report on key operational metrics, such as medical inquiries and grant requests.
- Collaborate with internal partners to publish digital scientific communications and support medical congress email campaigns.
- Manage funding support logistics, including documentation, contracting, and payment processes.
- Co-lead team engagement initiatives while receiving mentorship from medical strategy leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master of Biotechnology (MBiotech), Master in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization (MBDC), or a closely related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn.
- Comfort with challenging existing ideas to drive continuous improvement.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (12-month duration).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $57,416.00 to $75,358.50 CAD.
