Jr Biomedical Intern - 2026 (Year Round)

About the role#

The Junior Biomedical Internship program offers two distinct tracks: a research track focused on projects in tissue engineering, biomaterials, or biosensors, and an entrepreneurship track centered on biomedical innovation. This is an unpaid, year-round, on-site internship based in Woodland Hills, California.

What you'll do#

• Develop logical and analytical thinking skills through research and data analysis.
• Learn to understand the technology platforms developed at the Terasaki Institute.
• Conduct impact assessments and perform marketing research.
• Assist in the development of business strategies.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate in a four-year college or university in the U.S. or its territories.
• Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study prior to the start of the program.
• Intention to pursue a Ph.D. or joint M.D./Ph.D. in a bioscience field, with no current admission or enrollment in a graduate program.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while remaining self-governed.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Status as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
