    About the role#

    Repsol is seeking an engineering student for a summer internship with the Alaska Business Unit in Anchorage. You will work on projects supervised by the Reservoir Engineering team, focusing on the processes used to track, validate, and report oil, gas, and water production. This role offers exposure to the production lifecycle, from wellhead measurement to final sales reporting. You will work alongside Reservoir, Facilities, and Production Accounting teams to ensure data accuracy.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with daily well-level production and injection allocation for oil, gas, and water volumes.
    • Update and maintain production data in systems such as Energy Components and Oil Field Manager.
    • Build Power BI dashboards to visualize production trends and allocation accuracy.
    • Monitor performance trends and identify unusual production behavior in collaboration with Reservoir Engineers.

    What you'll need#

    • Completion of at least 2 years of a Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline. Eligible majors include Computer, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
    • A cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher.
    • Availability for a continuous 12-week period between May 17 and August 6, 2027.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Note that this position is not eligible for employment under OPT, CPT, or F1 visa programs.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, on-site position based in Anchorage, Alaska.
    • The internship is a paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
