About the role#
Repsol is hiring a Reservoir Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in The Woodlands, Texas. You will work from Monday to Friday, with the potential for a 9/80 schedule depending on project needs. The internship runs from May 17 to August 6. You must be a currently enrolled student for the Fall 2027 semester to qualify. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship and are not authorized for employment under OPT, CPT, or F1 visa programs.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers with daily project activities and assigned tasks.
- Assist with data compilation, organization, and basic analysis related to completion operations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and supporting technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including drilling, geology, and production.
- Complete an assigned internship project and present your results.
- Follow established safety standards and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 2 years of a Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline. Eligible majors include Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Current enrollment as a student for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A strong analytical background.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- The internship is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
- This role is on-site.
- You will receive an hourly wage and compensation for observed company holidays.
- A summer stipend is provided to help with expenses.
