About the role#
Repsol is hiring a Drilling Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in The Woodlands, Texas. The internship runs from May 17th through August 6th. You will work Monday through Friday, with the potential for a 9/80 schedule depending on project needs and manager approval. A summer stipend is provided to assist with expenses.
What you'll do#
- Support the engineering team with daily tasks and ongoing projects.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data related to engineering activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, reviews, and discussions to learn about business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Follow all company safety standards, procedures, and policies.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years toward a Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering.
- Current enrollment as a student for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Full authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship. We cannot support OPT, CPT, or F1 visa programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- The position is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time role.
- Interns receive an hourly wage and are compensated for observed company holidays.
- Non-local candidates must arrange their own travel and housing.
