About the role#
Repsol is hiring a Geologist Sedimentologist Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in The Woodlands, Texas. You will work Monday through Friday, with the potential for a 9/80 schedule depending on your specific project and manager approval.
What you'll do#
- Support geologists and geo-modelers with daily project tasks.
- Gather, organize, and perform quality control on geological and subsurface datasets.
- Prepare maps, cross-sections, models, figures, and technical documentation.
- Participate in subsurface interpretation, modeling, and review discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geophysics, engineering, and reservoir disciplines.
- Complete an assigned internship project and present your findings at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of at least two years toward a Bachelor degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related geoscience field.
- Current enrollment as a student for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Full authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship. Note that this role does not support OPT, CPT, or F1 visa programs.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

- Term: May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship. A summer stipend is provided to assist with expenses, and you will be paid for observed company holidays. You are not eligible for other benefits or paid time off.
