About the role#
Repsol is hiring a Geoscientist Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in The Woodlands, Texas. The internship runs from May 17th to August 6th. You will work directly with our geoscience team to support daily operations and subsurface projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the compilation, organization, and basic interpretation of subsurface data.
- Help create maps, technical exhibits, and presentations.
- Support team members with daily tasks and project activities.
- Join team meetings and discussions to learn about subsurface workflows.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams on various projects.
- Follow company safety standards and policies.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years toward a Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related geoscience field.
- Current enrollment as a student for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship. Please note that we cannot support OPT, CPT, or F1 visa programs.

- Location: The Woodlands, Texas.
- Term: May 17th to August 6th, 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship. Non-local candidates must arrange their own travel and housing, though a summer stipend is provided to assist with expenses.
