About the role#
Repsol is hiring a Completion Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based on-site in The Woodlands, Texas. You will work full-time from May 17th to August 6th. The role provides an hourly wage and a summer stipend to help with expenses. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship, and this role is not open to those requiring OPT, CPT, or F1 visa support.
What you'll do#
- Support completion engineers with daily project tasks and operations.
- Compile, organize, and analyze data related to completion activities.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with teams across drilling, geology, subsurface, production, and HSE.
- Participate in project discussions and engineering reviews.
- Follow safety standards and company policies.
- Complete an assigned internship project and present your findings at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- At least two years of completed coursework toward a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Civil, or Computer Engineering.
- Current enrollment as a student for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Full authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: The Woodlands, Texas.
- Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday. A 9/80 schedule may be available at the manager's discretion.
- Duration: May 17th to August 6th, 2027.
