About the role#
Valeo is seeking a Warranty / Process Co-Op for the Summer 2027 semester at our manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ohio. This role provides hands-on experience in quality engineering within an automotive environment. You will work with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Production teams to support product quality, process performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control plans, work instructions, and quality procedures.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Support new product and process validation activities.
- Collect, analyze, and report quality performance data.
- Assist with supplier quality activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process capability.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare quality reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Learn and apply automotive quality tools and methodologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated interest in automotive manufacturing, quality assurance, and process improvement.
- Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
