About the role#
As a Test Tools Engineering Intern, you will work alongside Test Tool Developer Engineers to support the design, setup, and maintenance of test infrastructure. This is a year-round, full-time position for students or recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Assist in defining and documenting test tool concepts.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts.
- Support the hardware procurement process and tool acceptance assessments.
- Set up, debug, and troubleshoot tool development stations.
- Create and manage technical documentation.
- Back up scripts and documentation using SVN standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical skills in electronics or computer science.
- A desire to learn test tool development processes.
- Interest in new technologies.
- Preferred: Experience with Linux, networking, switches, TCP, and programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C, or C++.
