About the role#
Toyota Racing Development (TRD) offers summer internships for students interested in motorsports engineering. You will join the team as an integral member, working on projects that bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application. This is a full-time, paid 12-week program.
What you'll do#
- Gain practical experience in your field of study.
- Apply classroom learning through hands-on technical tasks.
- Network with industry professionals.
- Expand your technical skills in a professional environment.
- Contribute to teams focused on aerodynamics, chassis engineering, engine design, engine production, manufacturing, CNC programming, or simulation.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a full-time, accredited bachelor’s or graduate degree program.
- Current standing as a Junior or Senior.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Studies in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Automotive Technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer application software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
